lady (no
one knows her name or where she lives) is a friend of Axel’s mates, brothers, neighbours, sister’s mum. The Cayman Crocodile has also been seen by a kid who knows his Croc’s because he loves watching reruns of Steve Irwin’s Crocodile Hunter on the Discovery Channel. Local folklore says that the Croc was put into the river by an unscrupulous pet shop owner who couldn’t get permission to open a new shop in-between the newsagents and the curry house. Into the Brook went the Croc, and also a terrapin that is regularly seen sitting on a log, sunning himself next to an abandoned shopping trolley.
So does a Cayman Crocodile live in the middle
of the local council estate; or is it another of those local urban myths? Perhaps my Girlfriend and I should take a
walk along the brook path late one night, armed only with a torch to see if we
can find the monster!

Some Caymans grow to 8 feet long! Let us know if you find it :) and wear a suit of armour
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I hope it doesn't freeze to death in this weather though. Perhaps it has found a nice hot water outlet somewhere. It's an idea for the local tourist board, isn't it - croc hunting in Farnborough! :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun on the crocodile hunt!! But be careful.
ReplyDeleteRather you than me!
